When I came across shopping and fashion powerhouse Shopbop.com the other day, I found a look that I absolutely fell in love with. The neutral knit tank and red (or in my case pink) jeans. The natural and relaxed pairing just seemed to fit perfectly together! This is another example of how two simple separates can be thrown together and look extremely stylish, simply because of the pop of color! One thing to remember would be when you're donning such bright pants, it is very important to remember to keep the rest of the outfit somewhat toned down. Nude pumps like the Shopbop model is wearing or nude wedges like the ones I'm wearing work well with this sort of pant, not upstaging the jean's brightness. Jewelry in a similiar (but not matchy-matchy!) hue can add more dimension to this simple pairing. Patterns in the knit tank also add personality and interest to the outfit. I love the tribal pattern in the Shopbop model's tank, yet a simple striped pattern will also do the trick- and will be much easier to find at an affordable price.

Pop of health/fitness: Lose the liquid calories. Say no to one soda, sports drink, or other sugary drink every day and you could shed up to one pound per week. Sugar-free soda, water, tea, and coffee are all great alternatives.
