Orange is a nice summery color that is unexpected when adding it to a preppy-like outfit. I wanted to make the orange stand out against preppy basics like a simple blue button down shirt and khaki shorts. Earthy leather accessories like riding boots and a leather band watch enhance the authenticity of preppy basics. Stripes and a scarf complete the look, giving it a casual feel while orange gives it a little pop of color.
