Yes, I realize my obsession with knee socks is getting out of hand. Will I stop? Probably not. But I should probably lay off for awhile! We'll see... haha
Anyways, if you've been following for awhile you know that my love for romper is unending. I realize this so-called "onesies" receive more than their fair share of criticism, but I feel that the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks! (Can we say bathroom run?)
The romper is such an easy way to dress when you need to throw-and-go. I love finding pieces with interesting prints and bright color schemes. I think accessorizing them is so much fun and easy when you have such intricate prints and girly details.
For this particular one, I decided to play off of the mustard and blue tones. I plan to wear this one with my new purple floral tights as well! See how much fun this is? (collective groan) I know, I know... I get a little too excited, but I'm sure many of you have at least one of these pieces hiding in your closet and transitioning them for fall is a cinch.
One way I did so was here when I added a lightweight sweater and waist belt. Now that it's getting a little cooler, I had to wear knee socks (had to...righhhhttt)! Another way to wear this would be to add colored tights and layer socks over top with tall boots. I can't wait to start adding chunky knits in bright colors over top of these as well!
Enjoy!
I LOOOOVEE your knee socks! I need to get my booty to Target so I can get some to wear with my boots!
