Style lesson learned: Do a monochrome look. Pink on pink works! A streamlined look like this slims the body. Add a pop of color in the same color family (like this red belt) for an updated look.

Style lesson learned: Try a new hemline like this scalloped salmon skirt. The tiers lay flat so they don't add bulk. Pair graphic floral prints with solid colors for a fresh spring look.

Style lesson learned: Sequins and bold colors (like red) can work from day to night. Pairing sequins with solids allows the color to really pop.

Style lessons learned: Collars are in this season! Update yours by wearing it on a graphic printed top and pairing the look with fuchsia denim. Neutrals anchor the look and keep you from looking too 80s.

Style lesson learned: Keep your look classic with black and white and pop of pink! Match the pop of color to something unexpected like shoes or a fun ring.

Style lesson learned: Layer unexpected prints like florals over bold stripes. Keep the look from swallowing you up by cinching your waist with a belt.

Style lesson learned: Make camel pop with fluorescent colors. The neon color looks extremely chic with neutrals, and -bonus- is appropriate for day this way!

Style lesson learned: Mix prints subtly by spacing them out. A pastel striped sweater, for instance, looks beautiful with loafers in a leopard print. Leopard acts as a neutral now, so they pair well with any color. Try a brooch/flower pin on your sweater, vest, or coat- it adds a touch of unexpected chicness and pulls the looks together.

Style lesson learned: If you want to go the comfy route try a solid-colored over sized cotton button down shirt with liquid or leather leggings. I live in this look! It's so comfortable, yet effortlessly stylish.

Style lesson learned: Don hues in the same color family! Play with texture at the same time and your look will be fun and colorful! This look is perfect with a velvet blazer, silk top, and denim pants! Gorgeous!

Style lesson learned: Denim on denim continues to work this season. Play with a pop of color by adding a bright cardigan or blazer over your chambray shirt. Bonus points for adding bright or printed shoes!

Style lesson learned: Office style doesn't have to be boring! Trade in your basic black or navy blazer for a colorful number to wake up office basics.

Style lesson learned: Red and pink work perfectly together! This color combination is so bright, keep accessories to a minimum and pair with nude heels to elongate the legs and let the colors take center stage.
