Cargo pants from Macy's, Kenneth Cole booties via Marshalls, Tights from PacSun, Plaid top from Abercrombie & Fitch, Cropped jacket from a boutique in Las Vegas, Scarf was gifted
This was another outfit we took on Sunday while filming the video with R Frank Photography. I was feeling a sort of "woodsy" look I guess, with the hiking boots and cargo pants. I'm loving the idea of matching some part of my outfit with tights to make it all flow, so I've been experimenting a lot with that lately. What do you guys think?
I've had both this cropped jacket and plaid flannel top for quite some time, just haven't found the right combination for either- thus I combined them! This scarf has also been in the back of my closet since last winter, so I thought I'd bust it out for this snow-filled day. Not being one for coats, I always am trying to find new ways to layer & bundle up without the added bulk of a coat. I really don't know why, but I'm never grabbing a coat unless it's practically a blizzard outside. Weird, I know.
So while we were taking these photos in a park downtown, some guy walked right right through the shot in a completely orange getup. I'm pretty sure he just got done fly fishing, or at least that's what it looked like. Looking back, it would have been hilarious to just get a shot with him. He was a man on a mission, just passing through not saying a word to anyone.
Anyways, yesterday was my first day back to school. We had a pretty long break actually (a little over a month) but no matter how long the break, I always feel mentally unprepared to go back. My teachers are great though, actually funny- which is refreshing. Nothing like an off-color joke to wake you up during British Literature! Hope you all are having a great week! :)
This is a great ensemble...the plaid and stripes mix, cute green cargo-kinda pants...and those amazing boots! Love it.
