If you've been following for awhile you know that one of my favorite things to do when creating an outfit is to mix prints! So much of your personal style can be explored through the mixing and matching of different prints in your wardrobe. Another plus- mixing prints allows you to get more mileage out of a piece that you might have thought was limiting!
Two of my favorite staples to build a mixed print outfit upon include the striped blazer and the leopard cardigan. And let's not forget the basic striped top! Stripes and leopard are two prints that you can find basically anywhere and the colors that make up many pieces with these prints are basic enough to found another piece with the same hue.
The key rule you must remember here is to mix no more than three prints and to keep one color unified throughout your outfit. This makes the look pleasing to the eye and creates a sort of fluency.
Basic colors such as black, navy, beige, and white are all great starting points to building a mixed print outfit. Not to mention, it's easier to find pieces that match that exact color tone.

Have a good weekend everybody!
Yes! And I LOOOVE when you do this! Your style is sick!!

Really helpful, I think stripes are one of the easiest prints to mix though it all depends on the width of the stripes, I love it with flowers and leopard too :) loved all the outfits I'm totally following you now <3 loved your blog
