The marriage of lace and neon seems like a summer match made in 'classy' heaven! When these two trends collide, they make fireworks. While the lace a-line dress keeps it preppy classic; the neon brings out the heat and summer personality.

I wanted to add a little bit of my own flair by adding a touch of metallic. I've had these bow sandals (a gift from my mom) since spring and adore them- no idea why they haven't appeared on the blog until now. It's so much fun to re-discover items in your own closet! 

So, are you guys into lace? I think this type of dress is perfect for more formal events like a bridal shower, church, or even a dinner out. And the cream base is so fun to use as a base to accessorize.

P.S.- definitely sold on taking outfit photos at dusk now- loving that glow! So much easier to do away with facial shadows. What a relief!
