I'm beginning to think that my anxiety-ridden neuroses could be a direct result of my tendency to keep my hair in a super tight ballerina bun. This is starting to get ridiculous! Sometimes I guess it takes posting outfit pics to realize what a ridiculous lack of hair skills I really have. Yikes. Any ideas on how to style shoulder-length layered and bone straight hair would be greatly appreciated!
You all know I'm a huge fan of leopard, so why not double it up! I wore this outfit to teach last week, (minus the heels) I paired it with black pointed toe flats so that I could walk around all day and not have to beg Nate to give me a foot massage for once. Sequined collars are one of the trends that are really sparking my fancy lately- the classy sequins make an outfit pop without even trying! I like that with color, print, and a little bit of sparkle, a simple outfit can turn glam without the need for jewelry!
I liked this one so much, I bought a similar long sleeved version in cream. I plan to wear it with my new Gap super skinny twill camo pants this week!
Hope you all had a fun weekend! We're bracing ourselves for the remnants of Hurricane Sandy. It's been raining and windy for days now, and we've been in the house watching movies and making fall food. Molly whipped us up some delicious pumpkin french toast yesterday morning and I made some cinnamon and cream baked apples today! Both were so tasty, and reminded me of fall. :)
I love the shoes and splashes of red!
ReplyDeleteI Love this outfit. So chic and classy.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous way to wear leopard. Love your coral shirt and sequined collar with the leopard card.

Love to pair leopard with red but love yours with the sparkle and the coral! I'm also trying to find new ways to style my hair besides messy bun, curly, or straight and just tried this braided knot bun! Would love it if you checked it out! Megan, xoxo
