Nail Trends for Spring 2012

Neon nails, like neon clothing are all the rage right now. This trend will no doubt continue to be a keeper for the summer months as well! I'm loving the subtle (but still bright!) orange here! Which one are you loving?

For a daring look, try a reverse french manicure! All over this year's fall runways, this trend was seen from black to white and metallics to pastels. Many salons offer a metallic finish for manicures like these for just a few bucks more!

Nobody does pastel polish this season better than Dolce & Gabbana. I'm not much of a 'purple' person, but I think this just changed my mind!

One of my favorite nail trends this season is the 'one standout glitter nail'. Last season we saw this trend with one different colored nail; but this time around, we're seeing a lot more manicures with one sparkle nail- often seen in silver or gold. For a classic look try a metallic glitter nail amidst baby pink or peach polishes, or go crazy with a brightly-colored glitter nail against a neon polish.
