Lately I've been hittin' it big at Marshalls when I've been on the prowl for clothes to wear to teach. Luckily, they've had some amazingly colorful options that are still modest.

This colorblocked skirt struck my fancy in particular because it's unique and I immediately found several ways to wear it! I plan to wear it with a striped peach and cream top, this gingham, and a black tank as well. So many options! 

How is everyone's week going? TGIF, right? (well, almost!) I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of August, wow has this summer flown by! My first week of student teaching has been greater than anything I could have asked for. My first day with the students today was wonderful and I'm really looking forward to tomorrow it's going to be great as well I'm sure. I feel really lucky to have gotten placed with such an amazing cooperating teacher.

So, what are your fun plans this weekend? I'm excited for my best friend's engagement party and my boyfriend's first gig playing in his new jazz band! Should be really exciting :)
