It seems as though the bright pants trend that struck runways just this past spring has some serious staying power! The trend was spotted all over runways for fall, and it's easy to transition the piece with a few simple tweaks.

Neons and tribal prints were hot this summer, but for fall collections such as that of J Crew pair these bright bottoms with classic preppy basics. Colors like navy, khaki, brown, brick red, mint, mustard, and rust were seen layered over top of brighter hues. For fall, cropped versions of the colored pants trend seem to work better with stylish oxford flats or lace-up suede booties. Riding boots are another option if you're not into heels for fall.

Either way, bright pants are everywhere and very affordable. They add a nice pop of color to fall's more muted tones.

Pop of health/fitness: This new eating plan seems to be working! We haven't been snacking at all (okay a couple rice cakes or animal crackers here and there!) and to be honest, by upping our fiber intake, we have been staying full well into the afternoon. I find that over processed carbs stimulate my appetite as do diet soda drinks. Making the switch to water and juice has definitely made me feel better and ultimately more energized. Can't wait to see the results at the next weigh in!
