So, onto the outfits! I thought I'd give you guys a little taste of how I work simple items from summer to fall. I found this vintage dress this summer at a little shop that I went into on a whim. It's so breezy and perfect for warm temperatures!
...Problem is- where we live the warm temperatures are nowhere to be found anymore. Solution? Layer, layer, and layer some more! One of the most loved color combinations this fall is mustard and burgundy. I wanted to take this idea and apply it to my fall style outfit.
The mustard yellow creates a nice contrast to the color of the dress and also brings out some of that yellow that is in the flower detailing. To tie the red together, I added this wooden beaded necklace.
I kept the knee socks (I'm a huge fan!) and simply added some brown leggings underneath to add some warmth. Boots were a must, the rugged look of these riding boots tones down the femininity of the dress pretty well. Hope you guys are enjoying your Saturday!
I love your socks... ahh! I'm looking for the perfect pair but can't find them! You've styled yours beautifully.
