Pairing Black & White With a Pop of Color

  • Tank was thrifted for $1*Pop of value!
  • Belt from Wet Seal $6
  • Skirt was thrifted (Old Navy) $1.50
  • Wedge sandals from Macy's (Steve Madden) $45
A big look on the runways for spring is mixing your plain black and white separates with a pop of color to keep them interesting. The look works if you keep your top OR skirt black&white or in a bright color- doesn't matter which. This is a simple outfit to put together, as most people own a piece in black in white (any print) and a piece in any bright color that's fun for summer. The black&white piece is more interesting when worn in some sort of print, and the bright colored piece in just a solid. The contrast makes it stand out, while the possibilities of how to put this look together are virtually endless! When mixing black&white with bright colors, make sure to have no more than 2 colors in the outfit, or it looks way too busy. Hope everyone iss having a nice weekend!

Pop of health/fitness: Eat with others whenever possible. Eating with other people has numerous social and emotional benefits—particularly for children—and allows you to model healthy eating habits. Eating in front of the TV or computer often leads to mindless overeating.
