Here is another way to take items from your closet that you probably already have and make a simple yet festive Christmas party look. For this outfit, I took a red silk one shoulder dress from the summer and threw a sequined gold tunic over top to create a simple yet elegant layering effect.

I love the way gold looks with red, the deep rich tones just create the right amount of glam without all the added accessories. To streamline the look, I added more texture by wearing some red fishnet tights. An outfit like this doesn't need a lot of extra accessories, so I just added this gold metal chain necklace to pull it all together!
