Just like us, celebrities are of all shapes and sizes! The trick to looking amazing everyday is understanding how your body shape works and playing up your assets! I've put together an easy-to-follow guide to help you figure out your body type and play up those sexy parts so that you can get the most out of your outfits.

First we must determine what type of body you have. In general, women's bodies are divided into five shapes: pear, wedge, rectangle, apple, and hourglass.

Characteristics of a Pear: Bigger lower than upper body, hips are wider than your shoulders, flat stomach, smaller chest, slim upper body, slim arms.
Best Asset(s): Your flat stomach and slim upper body!
What you must do: Balance out hips, show off your waist!
Tips & Tricks:

  • No full or clingy dresses!

  • Wear strapless dresses to show off those arms!
  • Straight leg or boot cut jeans are best to minimize hips
  • A-line skirts camouflage hips
  • Avoid tops that hit at the waist (they accentuate hips and thighs)
