Cool Colors on a Hot Day

Chinese Laundry heels, Pants via TJ Maxx, Top from Papaya Clothing ($7 right now), Necklace from Charming Charlie, AE sunnies

Bright colors are perfect on the last of these hot days! In an effort to put aside my beloved red heels for a few days, I decided to venture out into the world of the cool color palette. Here's what I came up with.

I went shopping and dress fitting today with my best friend and we had a blast! I found this top for $7 and this necklace as well. Gotta love a good buy one get one free Charming Charlie sale. Those really suck you in. Not that I'm complaining!

Happy Friday! Hope you guys are enjoying your start to the weekend! I plan to spend my lesson planning and soaking up the sun on these last few days before I start student teaching :)

  1. Missy I'm so glad I found your blog again, I hadn't added you to my bloglovin feed when I started out and I then "lost" you! Found you again via Twitter I think, and thanks for the follow back!

I LOVE the green and blue of this outfit, you made me want to go and pull out all my items in those colours and pair them up. The stripes are lovely on you and OH! that necklace!!!!! So beautifully put together, you look effortlessly chic :)))

    Have a great weekend sweetie!

  3. I love how it all matches so well. So many people hate to match their accessories and shoes with their outfit, but I love this look!
