Periwinkle Skirt & Bright Cardi

  • Vintage skirt
  • Wedge sandals from DSW
  • Old Navy cardigan
  • Silk tank from Express
  • Necklace from Plato's Closet
I love pairing colors that are unexpected. When I found this skirt in my mom's closet, I instantly thought of Easter and had to put it with pink. Instead of working with true color blocking, I decided to add some interest and casual style by choosing the silk tank (from yesterday's post) that embodied both colors and a fun print. With so many colors going on, I opted for a neutral shoe. Neutral shoes are the more practical choice for summer footwear (versus black) because they are versatile and play well off of summer's bright colors. Happy (ugh!) Monday everyone!
