Unexpected Orange

  • Boots from DSW
  • Belt from Gabriel Brothers
  • Fossil watch
  • Button down shirt from Abercrombie & Fitch
  • Tank from Abercrombie & Fitch
  • Shorts from American Eagle
  • Scarf from Old Navy
Orange is a nice summery color that is unexpected when adding it to a preppy-like outfit. I wanted to make the orange stand out against preppy basics like a simple blue button down shirt and khaki shorts. Earthy leather accessories like riding boots and a leather band watch enhance the authenticity of preppy basics. Stripes and a scarf complete the look, giving it a casual feel while orange gives it a little pop of color.

Black beans are great in soup and terrific with brown rice, Savard said. One cup has 190 calories and 19.4 grams of fiber. That's almost a whole day's worth in just a cup.
Psyllium Supplements
One serving or dose of a supplement with psyllium has about 2 grams of fiber.
Secret Morning Mix Granola
Savard's secret recipe for fiber? Her homemade granola. She starts each day with it and gives it as a gift to friends and family. A one-half cup serving has about 10 grams of fiber.
