We really got hit with the snow last night! It just started to pound down on us when Nate left Thursday night, but we got the majority of it on Friday. I guess it was due to happen eventually. I feel pretty fortunate that we've gone snow-less this long! Guess we couldn't expect it to last forever!
So in the spirit of keeping it simple and layering for the cold, I decided to pair these simple basics together to create a cozy, yet still stylish ensemble! I got this top for only $1 at a Plato's Closet clearance sale at the end of summer, and I've yet to wear it until now. I guess the reason would be that I gravitate more toward navy and white stripes, but since I've gotten these black pants, I'm trying to branch out of my color comfort zone!
Do you have a black/brown/navy preference? I guess one of the perks of being a style blogger is that I get to constantly rediscover my style and challenge myself to try new things!
